courses is given at the end of this discussion. As
you can see, the list is somewhat lengthy; so the
earlier you start preparing yourself for the CWO
and LDO programs, the better prepared you will
be. In addition to being better prepared for CWO
or LDO, you also improve your chances of
selection to the more senior petty officer rates by
completing as many of these courses as possible.

CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER PROGRAM
The Chief Warrant Officer Program provides
a direct path of advancement to CWO for
outstanding enlisted personnel on active duty in
Selection boards for CPO, senior chief petty
