Enlisted men E-6and below have the option of wearing the garrison capinstead of the white hat with the winter working blueuniform (command ball cap may be authorized as withdungarees and worn within unit premises or workingareas). Both uniforms are to be worn in working spaceswhere other uniforms would be unsafe, inconvenient, orwould become excessively soiled.Shoes. Black dress shoes and black socks are wornwith all uniforms. Shoes may be of leather or a syntheticmaterial with a plain toe.Peacoat. The peacoat is a blue winter-weight coatthat may be prescribed with an appropriate winteruniform. It is an easy-fitting, double-breasted coat witha convertible collar. The peacoat should reach the hips.The sleeves should reach to about three fourths of thedistance from the wrist to the knuckles of the hand whenthe arms hang naturally at the sides.
