10-5The patch of the command to which you areassigned must be centered on the left breast.A second unit patch of your choice, acceptable tothe command, will be centered on the rightbreast.The blue working jacket may be worn with thedungarees uniform.Hat. The white hat should be worn squarely on thehead, as shown in figure 10-1.Medals. Large medals may be prescribed for wearwith the dress blue jumper for special occasions, such aschange of command or formal inspections. Medals andneckerchief may be prescribed for wear with the dresswhite jumper. When large medals are worn with eitheruniform, the uniform is called full dress.ENLISTED WOMENEnlisted (E-6 and below) women’s uniforms andtheir proper wear are shown in figures 10-5 and 10-6(not all uniforms are shown). Uniforms must be tailoredaccording to the specifications in the followingparagraphs:Service dress blues. The enlisted women’s servicedress blues (fig. 10-5) is worn with ribbons. The necktieor necktab is worn with the outer edges parallel to theouter edges of the collar. An equal amount of thenecktab should show on each side of the collar. Forprescribed (required) and optional items, refer toNAVPERS 15665.Full dress blue. The full dress blue uniform is thesame as the service dress blue uniform. Large medalsand ribbons are worn (fig. 10-5) with this uniform.Dress white jumper. The enlisted women’s dresswhite jumper (fig. 10-6). The jumper should fitcomfortably with no binding. The sleeves will haveinverted creases at the inside and outside edge, hangstraight, and be long enough to cover the wristbone. Thebottom of the jumper should be loose fitting at the hips.Normally, a white belted skirt is worn with the dresswhite jumper. However, white jumper slacks can beworn with the dress white jumper. (NOTE: When whitejumper slacks are used with the white jumper, the hemof the jumper should fall to within 1 inch above thebottom of the pocket opening of the slacks.)
