Have in his/her possession more thano n e p r o p e r l y va l i d a t e d A r m e d Fo r c e sidentification card.b. Depart on liberty without his/her ownproperly validated identification card; or, in thecase of leave, without his/her own properlyvalidated leave papers and identification card.c. Have in his/her possession a false orunauthorized identification card; or amutilated, erased, altered, or not properlyva l i d a t e d i d e n t i fi c a t i o n c a r d ; o r a nidentification card bearing false or inaccurateinformation concerning a name, grade, servicenumber, or date of birth.d. Return from leave without depositinghis/her leave papers with the proper authority.Any person returning without an identificationcard shall report the loss to the OOD in person.510.14 CustomsUpon arrival of a naval unit in UnitedStates territory after visiting a foreign port, it issubject to customs and other inspections byFederal authorities.a. O n s u c h o c c a s i o n s , c u s t o m sdeclarations will be distributed to all hands insufficient time to be filled out and returnedbefore arrival in port.b. It shall be the duty of all personnel toaccurately complete customs declarations priorto arrival in port.c. No person, without permission fromthe commanding officer, shall bring on boardany article, animal, or any other thing, theintroduction of which into U.S. territory isf o r b i d d e n o r r e s t r i c t e d u n d e r c u r r e n tregulations.510.16 Divine ServicesAccessible and appropriate space shall beprovided for divine services. No person shallconduct himself/herself in a manner that wouldinterfere with properly authorized divineservices.510.18 Emergency EquipmentNo person shall use emergency equipmentfor any purpose other than that for which it isintended. Emergency equipment includesitems such as battle lanterns, emergency firstaid boxes, shoring, wrenches, life rings,equipment in life rafts and boats, portable firepumps, fire hoses, and fuel for emergencymachinery.510.21 Government PropertyNo person shall:a. Conceal or fail to report to properauthority the loss, removal, destruction, ordamage of government property entrusted tohis/her care or custody.b. Remove without proper authority fromits regular place of stowage or location, for anypurpose whatever, any article of governmentproperty, including hull and damage controlfittings, first aid equipment, life saving andemergency equipment, and stores andfoodstuffs.c. Have in his/her possession any articleof government property except as may benecessary for the performance of his/her dutyor as may be authorized by proper authority.510.27. Intoxicated Personsa. The officer of the deck or the commandduty officer shall ensure that the medical officeror a qualified representative shall promptlyexamine all persons who return on board in anintoxicated condition, or found on boardintoxicated.2-14Student Notes:
