Thelong-range training plan should include thefollowing information:1.2.3.4.5.The Annual Employment Schedule (similarto fig. 5-1)A list, including frequency, of all requiredexaminations, inspections, certifications,and assist visits (similar to fig. 5-2)A list of all type commander (TYCOM)required exercises including periodicity andthe date they were last conducted (similarto fig. 5-3)A list of off-ship school and Navy enlistedclassification code (NEC) requirements,including the names of the personnel whohold these qualifications (similar to fig. 5-4)A list of all lectures and seminars ap-propriate to each training group (similar tofig. 5-5) (This list should include, asa minimum, the Fundamental and Systemstopics from applicable personnel qualifi-cation standards [PQS].)The training officer and department heads areresponsible for developing and maintaining thelong-range plan. The department head con-solidates the information required for the long-range plan for all the training groups within thedepartment and forwards the department long-range training plan to the training officer. Thetraining officer consolidates the long-range plansreceived from each department and adds all unitlevel training requirements (e.g., general militarytraining [GMT]), indoctrination training).
